Guidelines for HRD Claimable Courses 

HRD Process Overview

This guide walks you through the entire journey, from registration to claim submission, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the process involved in obtaining financial support for employee training.

Step 01: Register as an Employer

Step 02: Apply for Grant

  • Employers may submit their application via e-TRiS under HRD Corp Claimable Courses Scheme.
  • Applications must be submitted by employers to HRD Corp for approval, at least one (1) day before training commences.
  • Once new Grant Application is successfully submitted, the Grant Officer will evaluate the application accordingly.
  • The application may be queried if additional information is required.
  • The application status will be updated in the employer’s dashboard and also will be notified via e-mail and e-TRiS inbox.
  • The employer must attach the supporting documents which is the invoice/quotation, trainer profile and schedule/course content (will be provided by SoftwareQ)

Note: HRD Corp may request for other relevant documents deemed necessary for verification confirmation purposes.

Important information to be included in the Grant Application process:

  1. For Scheme Code > Select: HRD Corp Claimable Courses: Skim Bantuan Latihan Khas, then click "Apply"
  2. Select a Training Provider > Input MyCoID : 201901034459 & Click “Search” (You should see SoftwareQ’s information displayed as the selected training provider)
    Note: Check your Levy Balance. Applications with insufficient Levy Balance will be rejected.

  3. Select a Course Title from the list, then key in all the required details and click "Next"

  4. Please Skip the Micro Credential section. Do not check the box related to Micro Credentials.

  5. Select the Type of Training as mentioned in the course brochure, and fill in the Programme Details and External Trainer

  6. Please key in the Training Location (as per the course brochure), and click "Next"


  7. Select the Level of Certification > Certificate of Attendance and click "Next"


  8. Select the Level of Certification > Certificate of Attendance and click "Next"


  9. Click "Add Batch" and click "Save"


  10. Click Add Trainee Details


  11. Please key in all the required Trainee Details, then click "Add"


  12. Click "Add" if there are more participants. Once done, click "Save"


  13. Click "Next"


  14. Please key in the Course Fee (as per the course fee quotation) and allowance details, then click "Save"

    Note: Estimated Cost includes the course fees/ external trainer fees, allowances, and consumable training materials, please comply with the HRD Corp Allowable Cost Matrix Table of Allowable Cost Matrix

  15. Complete the Declaration form and select a desired officer.


  16. Upload the required Supporting Documents (preferably in PDF format), then click "Add Attachment". Once complete, click "Save" and "Submit Application"
